Day 15: Pushing Forward, Even When It Feels Slow
Some days, it feels like I’m making huge strides. Other days, it feels like nothing is moving fast enough.
This is one of those days.
I woke up feeling frustrated—like I should be further, like things should be clicking into place faster. But then, I stepped outside. I heard the birds chirping. And for a brief moment, I felt it—excitement. Gratitude. The reminder that this is in God’s hands.
This is a long game. I’m not just chasing quick wins—I’m laying the foundation for something real.
So today, I execute. I adjust. I build. I push forward.
Today’s Focus: What’s Getting Done
✅ Negotiating Gym Space & Learning From Gym Owners
I’m deep in conversations about securing a gym space for training, working through the details, and talking to other gym owners to learn what works and what doesn’t.
✅ Finalizing My Training Plan for Weaknesses & Deficits
I’m working with someone who’s done this before to refine my training and shore up weak spots so I can train and compete at my highest level.
✅ Completing Pre/Postpartum Training Certification
I’m specifically niching down into women’s health & wellness. This is more than just fitness—it’s about empowering women through all stages of life.
✅ Making the Ask for Testimonials
The women I’ve been training for free? It’s time to get their feedback. Testimonials are proof of impact, and I know their words will speak louder than any pitch.
✅ Pushing Through Discomfort – Talking About What I’m Building
This is unfamiliar territory for me. Talking about a brand-new business, putting myself out there, sharing progress from the ground up—it’s uncomfortable. It’s easy to fall back on what I know, to default to the consulting work I’ve done for over a decade. But I know that growth requires visibility, and I refuse to let discomfort keep me playing small.
✅ Training – Pull Day (Back & Biceps)
Lifting heavy, refining movement, and continuing to push my body as I prep for competition.
The Mental Game: Frustration vs. Trust
Yes, I wish things were moving faster.
Yes, I wish I had all the pieces in place right now.
But that’s not how this works. Nothing worth building happens overnight.
So instead of focusing on what’s missing, I focus on what’s working.
💥 Wins, not gaps.
💥 Progress, not perfection.
💥 The long game, not the short fix.
I woke up feeling the frustration. Now I’m turning it into fuel.
Let’s Run Into the Weekend
The work doesn’t stop. The mission doesn’t slow down. I’m ready to tackle today head-on and push hard into the weekend.
💭 What’s one thing that’s tested your patience lately? How are you pushing through?
